Light Induced Guided Healing Therapy™ (LIGHT)
What is LIGHT™? (Formerly Healing Light Guided Imagery, HLGI)
Light Induced Guided Healing Therapy™ (LIGHT) is a novel therapy implementing a proprietary framework with proof-of-concept pilot study results at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and it is a transferable skill that can be acquired over the course of an eight (8) week/session.
In MS study participants [LIGHT*] led to a
- 75% decrease in depressed mood
- 24% decrease in fatigue
- 38% increase in physical quality of life
- 30% increase in mental quality of life
This research backed therapy model now has a peer-reviewed published paper in the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine (JEBIM) with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) pilot study results. In a small group of MS participants, patients who completed HLGI (N = 9) showed significant reductions in depressed mood (P < .05) and fatigue (P < .01) and showed significant gains in physical (P < .01) and mental (P < .01) quality of life compared with journaling (N = 8). Our results suggest that HLGI can improve self-reported physical and mental well-being in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.

Differentiators from Mindfulness:
* Learning and teaching to access intuition
* Offers neutral non-sectarian light
* Uses Imagination, which is an expanded state of Mind.
This series of 8 guided imagery sessions delivered one per week for 8 consecutive weeks is designed to program and activate pathways in the unconscious mind that improve one’s ability to cope with the stress of life and better manage the comorbid symptoms of a large variety of conditions.
Interview forms are submitted prior to the first session to assess these needs and to design the session modules. The first (double) session will kickstart the process and by the fourth or fifth session you should be adept with the process and will be equipped to practice it on your own as and if you experience a flare up of any of your symptoms. The following sessions will anchor the process and make it an integral part of your symptom management tool kit. The eighth and final (double) session includes a recording of the process and an assessment of the entire program.
