Medical Hypnotherapy for Clients

Medical hypnotherapy is a wonderful way to complement western medicine.

Several years ago, the Mayo Clinic published a comprehensive article by James Stewart on the efficacy of hypnosis in medicine. “Hypnosis in Contemporary Medicine” includes documentation of the value of hypnosis shown in clinical trials for a wide variety of medical uses.

Studies are detailed on hypnosis for pain relief, allergies, anesthesia for surgery, dermatology, gastroenterology (including IBS), healing from surgery or injury, hematology (hemophilia), hypertension, neurology (including for headaches), obesity, obstetrics, oncology, otorhinolaryngology (tinnitus), pulmonary medicine (for asthma and smoking cessation), rheumatology (for fibromyalgia), and urology (sexual function and urinary incontinence).

“The wisdom of the body is responsible for 90% of the hope of patients to recover. The body has a super wisdom that is in favor of life, rather than death. This is the power we depend on for life. All doctors are responsible for letting their patients know of this great force working within them.” ~Dr. Richard Cabot, Harvard Medical School

I am now offering a new process to reduce the symptoms of a variety of conditions. This recovery process activates the innate design of your body to heal itself. While results vary, consider the words of a recent client.

Testimonial from client after the Recovery Process:
My knees have been doing very well and feel great. Last Thursday and Friday were both driving days, which can often really hurt. Both knees did very well, with little pain.
As time goes by, I notice different signs of healing like reduced swelling, things popping and adjusting (in ways that feel good as opposed to the other ones), that cool sensation of inflammation subsiding and now even that itching that sometimes comes with healing.
Instead [of going to work], I spent two days outside in glorious weather digging in the dirt, planting plants, playing with the dogs, trimming trees and all kinds of things I’ve not been able to do for so long.
The grounding was just what I needed, but I was a little concerned about how my knees would react. They did beautifully, slight swelling internally, which didn’t stay. There is one small area in each knee that still has a problem, but is lessening all the time.
Needless to say, I’m thrilled and amazed. I’ve seen, and been blessed to be the recipient of healings with hypnotherapy and other awesome modalities, but nothing as physically profound.
In addition, while doing the work, I knew that the same basic issues were also affecting other things, for example, an old back injury. I couldn’t help but think and wonder that it might help there too. It definitely has. And, since, in my case, these are core principals, I’ve noticed a restrengthening of my emotional (?) core. I have regained a part of my energetic self that I have been seeking for a very long time…and it is beautiful. ~Sherry

  • One-third of American adults spend a total of $13.7 billion on break-away treatments.
Hypnotherapy is complimentary medicine appropriate for some symptoms that haven’t responded to conventional treatment.
  • Viruses, germs and physical trauma are not the only considerations in patient treatment. Mind/body interactions, environment and lifestyle all play roles.
  • No one disputes that the mind and body are closely linked. The connection between stress and disease is well documented.
  • There is never a loss of control. You are alert and in full control. You will hear every word.
  • Any time willpower and imagination come into conflict, imagination will always win. That’s why willpower is not required to achieve results with hypnosis.
