I’ve had some interesting experiences lately with manifesting.
One day on my morning walk I was thinking that, if I had the time, I would hire a voice coach to help me improve my choir performance. You see, choir has become my hobby. And since I am singing with a rather talented group of people, why not work on improving?
However, I don’t want to squeeze one more activity into my schedule. So I let it go.
When I showed up that evening for choir practice the choir director gave me some suggestions for ways to improve. (apparently singing with your mouth almost closed isn’t recommended – grin) I told her about my thoughts that morning and she announced, “Well, now you have one.”
The next week I was reminiscing about the days when I was asked out even at the grocery store. That’s it. I wasn’t wanting it to happen again. I was just thinking about how it did happen when I was younger.
I really do know how easy it is to manifest. So, why was I surprised when a nice gentleman at the grocery store wanted to exchange phone numbers a few days later?
Before anything ever took form on the planet it started as a thought. This is simply a reminder that we all need to monitor our thoughts more mindfully. Remember the Buddha’s words:
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
The mind is everything. What we think, we become.”
